Toy American Eskimo Dog

The Toy American Eskimo or "Eski" breed of dog is a companion dog. This is a small dog, charming and loving with a look intelligent.

There are two other types of American Eskimo dogs - standard and miniature. The only significant difference between the two is their size and weight.

Eski have a snow-white double coat, biscuits or cream can be identified. Both the upper mantle and are thick and soft undercoat. They have a very distinctive collar, compact body; KeilForms a relatively small head with erect triangular ears delivered. Their eyes are oval, dark brown with dark brown or black rims. The tail is plumed and curled over back.

The Toy American Eskimo is strong, fast and agile, with a flowing movement. These dogs are very amiable and exuberant.

These dogs are a good choice for a family. They get along well with children if sufficient exposure and interaction early. Are also friendly with other pets. Eski considered a good race for the owner of the first half when he purchased from a good breeder.

Are cautiousStrangers until they know then that they get now friends. They are excellent watchdogs - will bark to announce a stranger.

Eski need to be socialized to, and are very trainable, but the kindness and the need for consistency. They seem to take longer to mature than other breeds. It can behave like a puppy is only two years.

You need exercise, so that they do not gain weight. Toy Eskimos have only a few laps around the house or outside, but the others need more love andwalks.

The American Eskimo is part of the Spitz family of dogs. German SpitzE 'state in the United States and the American Eskimo was created in the market. The breed was recognized by the AKC in 1995.
